Chest Freezers

The DFC series ultra low chest freezers are ideal for the storage of small items at -40°C
to -80°C. The durable stainless steel interior helps in temperature stability and
simplifies freezer cleaning when required. An LCD screen on the front of the unit
displays the set temperature, plus the current internal temperature. The scan button
feature is also useful for for setting and checking temperature set points. Both freezers
have an automatic timer system that will restart in case of a power failure.

For added security, these models can be fitted with optional alarms, CO2 backup
system, phone dialler and a chart recorder.

The DFC series chest freezers are very robust and provide constant accurate
temperature control over many years of operation.

The DFC-SA models are small capacity, ultra low chest freezers, specially designed with additional safety in mind. These freezers have been fitted with additional alarms (which are battery backed up), building management system connections and chart recorders which all ensure the safe long term storage of valuble or critical products which are to be stored at temperatures between -40 to -80 degrees. An optional phone dialler can also be supplied should additional back up be required.

As per the standard DFC range, both models have a durable stainless steel interior which helps in temperature stability and simplifies freezer cleaning when required. The scan button feature is useful for setting and checking temperature set points. This freezer also has an automatic timer system that will restart in case of a power failure.

The top opening lid can be locked with a padlock (not supplied) to keep the contents of the freezer secure when left unattended.

 Designed to provide over voltage, surge and under voltage (sag, brownout) protection, PowerGuard Duo Original is a totally unique micro-processor controlled protective device, factory set to provide a safe operating window for the direct connected equipment.
PowerGuard is fully automatic, designed for a 230/240 Volt 50Hz or 110/120 Volt 60 Hz AC Mains electrical supply.

As soon as the AC voltage supply moves outside the safe operating window (190 Volts Low to 265 Volts High/230V AC 50Hz) PowerGuard Duo Original immediately switches OFF power to the protected equipment and remains OFF until a safe mains supply voltage is detected, giving sensitive equipment proper protection when needed and whenever isolation occurs, providing the connected equipment with a vital minimum time delay before power is restored (e.g. prevents pixel damage in plasma screens).

 In the advent of a malfunction in any temperature controlled cabinet a safety thermostat will function to cutout or warn of this problem. When connected to a dialguard Phone Dialler this problem can be conveyed to a responsible person enabling them to take immediate action to protect the stored product.
